Tony and Heather's Intimate West Coast Wedding
Heather and Tony were married on a beautiful point in Cedar overlooking the ocean. Westcoast flavour was found in the floral decor, the menu, and the atmosphere! Elegant creams, browns and hints of green accentuated the beauty around. Sheri Jackson Photography did a wonderful job capturing the moment, and Lisa from Master's Touch Catering created a fantastic westcoast inspired menu. Breathtaking!

Caitlin and Steven's Neutral Garden Party
Caitlin and Steven had a lovely neutral-based wedding reception on a friend's property in Lantzville. Pale pinks, corals, greys and oatmeal colours with hints of gold were found abundantly in the reception details, as well as in the bridesmaid attire. A very romantic trend for such a trendy couple! |
Joanie and Landon's Chocolate and Strawberry Winter Theme
Joanie and Landon had a small, initmate wedding with family and close friends at the Quamichan Inn. Strawberries and chocolate were the theme items for this January wedding. A Wee Cupcakery provided the cupcakes and Greg Howard photography did all the wedding shots, while we provided the flowers and planning. A beautiful setting for a beautiful couple!
Wanda & Ryan's Westcoast Wedding
Wanda and Ryan had a wonderful westcoast, rustic wedding on the sandy beach in Deep Bay, Bowser. They shared their own personal vows with guests standing facing the ocean they loved, followed by a unique tatoo ceremony. The reception was held at the Deep Bay Marine Field Station, run by VIU. A very unique and personal rustic, westcoast wedding!
Trisha and Xhem's Beach Wedding
This simple beach wedding took place at Neck Point in Nanaimo. A simple white aisle runner, rose petals, an archway, and candle-lit lanterns awaited the bride and groom. The reception was held at the Nanaimo Golf Club.
Travis and Kerry's Wedding
The happy couple recited their vows behind the Lantzville Hall and then enjoyed the festivities with friends and family in the candle-light afterwards.
Heather and Kyle's Wedding
The 130 guests of this wedding also enjoyed an outdoor ceremony atop a grassy hill overlooking Okanagan Lake. Stargazer lillies created a simply beautiful bouquet for the bride.
DJ and Sonya's Wedding
Brown and Champagne accents created a warm fall atmosphere for this Nanaimo couple. Orange and cream cala lilies adorned the tables and bouquets, while bridesmaids were dressed in brown satin. The wedding was held at a local church and the reception at the Lantzville Hall. A unique and fun-filled night allowed the bride and groom's individual taste to show through.
A Themed Wedding
This special bride and groom picked a pink and green colour theme for their outdoor reception. The green table runner sets the pink and cream flowers off ever so beautifully. Elegant and fresh!
A Special Indoor Garden Wedding
The bride and groom really wanted to bring the outside in for their special day. We turned a simple meeting room into a garden paradise at the Parksville Baptist Church for this reception. A park bench surrounded by green bushes, old-fashioned lamps, and baskets of flowers inspired many family pictures to be taken. An otherwise cool day was not felt in this warm venue.
A Winter Wonderland
Andrea and Chad wished for Christmas a little early and their wish was granted. Held at the beautiful Tigh-Na-Mara in Parksville, this wonderland was created with a lot of silver, pine, cedar and pointsettias. The bride and her bridesmaids carried white fur muffs accented with miniture pinecones and cedar bows, while the tall arrangements were filled with dark red cranberries and Christmas accents. The bridal party arrived in a horse pulled carriage and the ceremony took place outside by the covered water structure.
Rustic Picnic Wedding
Sacha and Brad enjoyed a casual outdoor ceremony at The Quality Inn Bayside in Parksville with family and friends. Rustic touches of wood rounds, burlap, and flower-filled mason jars added to the picnic style ceremony. The reception at the Tigh-Na-Mara also carried touches of the summer picnic, while candles and white paper lanterns added warmth and sophistication. Bright garden flowers filled the room and were the stars of the bridal bouquets.
Green and Black Dream
Jessica and Jeremy's wedding took place at a local church in Nanaimo and the reception was held at the Cavalotti Lodge. Jessica loved black and green and wanted it incorporated into every part of her dream wedding. Her bouquet had black pearls added to make it stand out. Green apples were added to water jewels for centerpieces and white paper lanterns accented the reception hall. The rings were carried on drum sticks by the ring bearer to add some of Jeremy's personality to the ceremony. All the linens were provided by Events by Bliss.
